In recent site visits WorkSafe ACT has identified a number of workers and officers of companies signed into, and allegedly working to, safety systems which they clearly do not understand.
In response to these incidents WorkSafe ACT has issued a Understanding Safety System on Worksites Safety Alert detailing the obligations of persons conducting a business or undertaking and the use of resources and verification processes to ensure that the induction of workers into safe systems of work is successfully completed and understood.
